Epinions Pays Quicker Than Most Internet Companies

As my 100th review, I thought I'd dedicate it to this wonderful website I found that pays me to express my opinions ... you guessed it ... http://www.epinions.com.
When I joined on March 20th, 2000 (thanks to my brother gym-378) I took a look around, read a lot of reviews, both good and bad, and finally decided I would give it a try.
During March I wrote 5 reviews. I'll admit, they weren't that great. I was getting some HRs but mostly Rs and even quite a few SRs & NRs. I got disappointed and quit writing for a while. In May my brother called me to tell me that the Income Shares were in so I checked it out. I had gone from a whole $3.00 to almost $9.00. I was pretty excited when just one of my reviews received almost $4.00 just by itself. My brother told me it was because I wrote on a product that others hadn't written much on. Cool.
So I started to write again, and this time more aggressively. I started to ask questions on how to better write reviews, and I got answers. I started to really read and rate others, and they start to read and rate mine. I was becoming addicted to Epinions.
I also started leaving comments, not only on why I rated the way I did, but also to let others know if I thought it was a good review, or if I had my own experience I shared. I found others that they had started checking out my reviews also. Hmmm, I guess I figured out the way to get a lot of ratings, Read Others as You Would Have Them Read You.
Finally, last Friday I decided I wanted to claim my check from Epinions. I clicked on the Redeem link and answered their questions. I got a note saying thank you and we will process it soon.
Figuring it was my first check, and it is coming from an Internet company, I probably wouldn't see the check til sometime in mid-September. So when I went to the mailbox on Thursday (only 6 days after requesting it) you wouldn't believe how amazed I was to actually be holding my earnings check from Epinions.
I had read some reviews of how people had problems redeeming. But I am so happy to report that when I did it, Epinions processed my request extremely quickly and with no hassles. My confidence in Epinions has definitely been boosted.
